LEFT & BELOW: Ventia Ltd presented Jan & Pamela with a cheque for $1300 to buy wool so that our 4Cs knitters can knit baby clothes for the hospital and our new Toy Library babies.

Programme:
The Monday program currently consists of:
- 9.45am morning tea,
- 10:15 - 11:15am a short devotional and a guest speaker. Speakers have included talks on Whangarei History, from doctors, the mayor, about railways, magicians, musicians, etc, etc.
- 11:15-12:15pm - social time for playing Scrabble, Quiddler, bowls, jigsaws, knitting, etc
- 12:30 - lunch
Purpose:
To minister in love to the elderly and disadvantaged in the Whangarei community. This is done mainly through the Monday program as well as hospital and home visitation.
Present attendance averages at 60 per week with an active membership of over 120.
Our lovely team of volunteers and pastoral carers work closely with other community organizations and social services to care and serve our community. Our organizers plan each quarter with fun talks, activities and outings to keep our group vibrant and exciting!
